About the IBPS PO uploads
CRP PO/MT-XVI fills Probationary Officer and Management Trainee posts in 11 public sector banks, such as Canara Bank and Punjab National Bank, for the 2027-28 vacancies. You need a degree in any discipline and must be 20 to 30 years old, with age relaxation for some categories. All uploads happen inside the online form on ibps.in, right after you register and get your provisional registration number: a photo, signature, left thumb impression, a handwritten declaration in English and your 10th certificate as a PDF. During registration you also capture a live photo, through your webcam or by scanning a QR code with your phone. The form will not move to the next stage until the photo and signature meet the specs. PO is a long process, with Prelims, Mains, a Personality Test and an interview, and your face may be matched against the uploaded and live photos at different stages.

How to resize your IBPS PO photo and signature
- The IBPS PO size is already selected above. Switch between Photo, Signature, Thumb, Declaration at the top.
- Upload a clear photo from your phone, or a scan or photo of your signature on white paper.
- Drag and zoom so your face (or signature) fills the frame. Use Rotate if it is sideways.
- For the signature, keep Clean background on so the paper turns pure white and the ink stays dark.
- Press Download JPG. The result shows the exact pixel size and KB, within the IBPS PO limits.
Tips so your IBPS PO upload is not rejected
- Putting the photo in the signature slot, or the signature in the photo slot, means you will not be allowed to appear for the exam.
- A declaration written by someone else or in any language other than English makes the application invalid, and handwriting later found dissimilar by expert analysis cancels candidature.
- If the signature you put on the attendance sheet or call letter at the exam does not match the uploaded signature, you will be disqualified.
- Do not change your appearance until selection ends: photos captured at each stage are matched with your uploaded or live photo, and refusing biometric capture may cancel candidature.
- Use a recent colour photo with a plain light background and even light on your face, with no cap or dark glasses.
- Sign in black ink inside the space, and do not sign in capital letters unless the notice allows it.
- Open the downloaded file once to check it looks sharp before you upload it to the portal.

How many copies of my uploaded photo should I keep for IBPS PO?
IBPS advises keeping about 8 copies of the same photo you uploaded, because later stages need it. At the Prelims you must paste one on the call letter and bring one extra copy, or you will not be allowed in. The same photo ID is checked with your exam call letter and again with the interview call letter.
Can I fix a wrong photo or signature after I submit the PO form?
Before final submission, use the preview: if an image is unclear you can edit the application and re-upload it. After the closing date, IBPS opens a 2-day edit window (Rs 200 fee, one re-submission only). Name, email, mobile, state, post and nationality are locked there; the notice does not list the uploads among them. After that window, no changes at all.
Are documents uploaded again before the PO interview?
Yes. Shortlisted candidates must upload soft copies of their eligibility documents in PDF through a link on the IBPS website, and the notice calls this mandatory. You then bring the originals and self-attested photocopies, including the interview call letter printout and photo ID proof, to the interview.
Can I take the IBPS PO photo with my phone?

How do I check the size of my file before uploading?
The result box under the preview shows the exact pixel size and file size in KB. On a phone you can also open the file details in the Files or Gallery app. On a computer, right-click the file and open Properties (Windows) or Get Info (Mac).
What if my file is smaller than the minimum KB?
Small images can come out below the minimum even at full quality. This tool then adds a harmless comment block inside the JPG so the file reaches the minimum size, while the picture stays exactly the same.
