One PDF from your photos and scans

Application portals, offices and colleges often want "a PDF", even when all you have are photos taken on your phone: the front and back of an ID card, a few pages of a certificate, bills for a reimbursement claim, or handwritten notes. This converter puts your images into a single PDF, one image per page, in the order you choose. You can set the paper size, margins and how each image sits on the page, and keep the file under a size limit when a form asks for one.

It all happens in your browser. The photos are not uploaded to any server, there is no account to create, and nothing is printed on your pages.

How to convert JPG to PDF

  1. Add your images. Tap the box and select one or more JPG, PNG or WebP files, or drop them on it. You can add more at any time; new images go to the end.
  2. Put them in order. Use ◀ and ▶ on an image, or drag its ⠿ handle. Tap ⟳ to turn a photo that is sideways and ✕ to remove one.
  3. Choose the page size. A4 for documents and forms, or Same as image for screenshots and posters.
  4. Pick orientation, margin and fit. Auto orientation turns the page sideways for landscape photos. Fit whole image shows the full photo; Fill page covers the page and trims the edges.
  5. Set the file size. Keep Full quality, choose Smaller file, or set a maximum in KB for an upload form.
  6. Download. Check the preview, edit the file name if you like, and tap Download PDF. The final size is shown under the button.

Making the PDF fit a KB limit

Recruitment, scholarship and admission portals usually set a maximum size for each document you upload, and photos straight from a phone are often several MB each. Choose Under a size (KB), type the limit from the notice or tap a preset, and the tool tries different quality levels to find the highest one that keeps the whole PDF under that size. The same quality is used for every page, so no page looks worse than the others.

A few things help when the limit is tight:

  • Black and white removes colour, which makes text documents much smaller and often easier to read.
  • Crop before you add. A photo of a document that also shows the table and your hand wastes space. Crop it in your gallery app first.
  • Fewer pages per file. If a portal allows separate uploads, a PDF per document is easier to keep small.
  • Good light. Even daylight without shadows gives a cleaner, smaller file than a dim photo full of grain.

If the limit cannot be reached even at the lowest quality, the tool still saves the smallest version and tells you how big it is, so you can decide what to change. Always check the limits in your own notice, because each portal sets its own.

Quality and privacy

With Full quality, JPG and PNG images are placed in the PDF exactly as they are, without compressing them again, so nothing is lost. Turning a photo with ⟳ keeps the original image too; the page is simply drawn turned. Smaller file and Under a size do re-save the images, which is how they make the PDF lighter.

Because everything runs on your device, this is a safe way to handle Aadhaar and PAN copies, marksheets, bank documents and medical reports. Close the tab when you are done and nothing is left behind.

About iPhone photos (HEIC)

iPhones save photos as HEIC by default. Safari can usually read these, so they work here on an iPhone or Mac. Chrome and most Windows browsers cannot open HEIC; if your photo is refused, share or export it as JPG first. To make the iPhone camera save JPG from now on, choose Settings › Camera › Formats › Most Compatible.

Tips for neat scans with a phone

  • Place the paper on a dark, plain surface so its edges are clear, and hold the phone straight above it.
  • Turn off the flash to avoid a bright glare spot; use daylight from a window instead.
  • Fill the frame with the page and keep all four corners in the photo.
  • Check each page in the preview before you download, so a blurred or cut page does not reach the office.

Shortcuts

Frequently asked questions

How do I convert several JPG images into one PDF?

Tap Choose images and select all the photos at once, or add more later. Put them in order with the arrows or by dragging the ⠿ handle, choose the page size, then tap Download PDF. Each image becomes one page of the same PDF.

How can I make the PDF smaller than 100 KB or 200 KB?

Under File size, choose Under a size (KB) and type the limit or tap a preset. The tool tries several quality levels and keeps the sharpest one at which the whole PDF fits. For text documents, Black and white helps a lot; if the limit is still too small for many pages, the tool tells you the smallest size it could reach.

Will converting reduce the quality of my photos?

Not with Full quality: JPG and PNG images are placed in the PDF as they are, without compressing them again. Smaller file and Under a size do re-save the images at a lower resolution and quality to cut the file size.

Can I convert iPhone HEIC photos to PDF?

It depends on the browser. Safari on iPhone and Mac can usually read HEIC photos, so they work here. Chrome and most Windows browsers cannot; in that case, share or export the photos as JPG first, or set Settings › Camera › Formats › Most Compatible on the iPhone so new photos are saved as JPG.

Which page size should I choose?

A4 is the standard paper size in India and the safe choice for forms and printing. Letter and Legal are mostly used in the US. Same as image makes every page exactly the shape of its photo, which suits screenshots and posters.

Are my photos uploaded anywhere?

No. The images are read and the PDF is made by your browser on your own device, so ID proofs, certificates and personal photos never leave your phone or computer. There is no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limit.

Why is my photo sideways in the PDF?

Some photos are stored sideways with a note telling the viewer to turn them; this tool follows that note. If a page still looks wrong in the preview, tap ⟳ on that image to turn it 90 degrees before downloading.
