1Your PDF

Open a PDF on the right. You can then:

  • Change the existing text: tap a line and type
  • Add text, a signature, images, ticks and the date
  • Cover old content with white-out, highlight lines, draw
  • Fill in form fields, if the PDF has them
  • Rotate, delete, reorder or duplicate pages
  • Merge another PDF and extract pages

Your PDF is opened and saved inside this browser. It is never uploaded, so it is safe for ID proofs, bank statements and contracts.

Join PDFs into one file, privately

Application portals, CA offices and HR teams often ask for "a single PDF": your marksheets one after the other, a passport copy with its address page, a set of invoices for a quarter, or an admit card followed by the fee receipt. This page opens straight into the page organiser of our PDF editor. Pick all the files at once, put the pages in order and download one merged PDF. Every step runs in your browser, so the documents are never uploaded to a server.

How to merge PDF files

  1. Tap the box and select two or more PDFs. On a phone you can pick several files from Files or Downloads in one go.
  2. The pages appear in the order of the files. To add more later, tap Add more PDFs; the new pages go to the end.
  3. In the Pages section, tap pages to select them, then use Move earlier and Move later, or drag the ⠿ handle on a page to its new place.
  4. Rotate sideways scans, delete blank or duplicate pages, or add a blank page as a separator.
  5. Give the file a clear name and tap Download merged PDF. The new size is shown below the button.

Name and order files the way offices expect

A few habits make a merged PDF easier for the person checking it:

  • Follow the checklist order. If the notice lists documents as 10th marksheet, 12th marksheet, degree, ID proof, keep that exact order.
  • Front before back. Put the front of an ID card before its back, and keep both on facing pages.
  • Use a plain file name such as rahul-verma-documents.pdf. Some portals reject names with spaces or symbols.
  • Check the size limit. Portals often set a maximum file size. Merging does not compress pages, so if the result is too big, make the individual scans smaller before merging.

What happens to quality, forms and passwords

Merging copies each page as it is, so text stays sharp and selectable and photos are not compressed again. Links and form fields inside the first PDF are kept. If one of the files is password-protected, you will be asked for the password when you add it; such encrypted files, and PDFs with edit restrictions, are added as an image copy of their pages, and the tool shows a note when that happens.

More than merging

Because this is the full editor, you can also sign the merged file, tick boxes, add a page number or note with the Text tool, or correct a line with Edit text before you share it. Need the opposite? Select pages and use Extract selected pages to save them as a separate PDF. To turn photos of documents into a PDF first, use JPG to PDF, then merge the result here.

Frequently asked questions

How do I combine two PDFs into one?

Choose both files together, or open one and then tap Add more PDFs. The pages of each new file go to the end. Reorder them with the move buttons or by dragging the handle on a page, then tap Download merged PDF.

Is there a limit on how many PDFs or pages I can merge?

There is no daily limit and no fixed cap on files or pages. Everything happens in your browser, so the practical limit is your device's memory: a computer handles big jobs better than an older phone.

Will merging reduce the quality of my PDFs?

No. Pages are copied as they are, so text stays sharp and selectable and images are not recompressed. The one exception is a PDF with edit restrictions set by its creator: its pages are added as an image copy, and the tool tells you when that happens.

Can I merge password-protected PDFs?

Yes, if you know the password. You will be asked for it when the file is opened, and it is checked on your device only. Because such files are encrypted, their pages are added to the merged PDF as an image copy.

Can I merge only some pages from each PDF?

Yes. After adding the files, select the pages you don't need and tap Delete, or select just the pages you want and tap Extract selected pages to save them as a separate PDF.
