A bright birthday card in two minutes
Birthday invitations are the ones parents make in a hurry, usually the night before they send them to the class WhatsApp group. This page opens with a party-ready card: bunting across the top, balloon bunches in the corners, confetti and a cheerful script heading. Add the child's photo and name, the date, time and place, and it is ready to send. It works just as well for a 60th birthday dinner; change the design and the wording.
What to put on a birthday invitation
- The name and the age: "Aarav turns 1" or "Myra's 5th Birthday" in the highlight line, which is printed large.
- Date and time: pick them from the calendar and clock; the card writes "Sunday, 1 November 2026" and "6:30 PM" for you.
- The place: home address, society clubhouse or restaurant, with a landmark. Add a Google Maps link to print a location QR.
- A note if needed: a theme ("Dress code: superheroes"), a request to RSVP by a date, or "Return gifts for the little ones".
- Who is inviting: the parents' names after "With love from".
Add the photo
Tap "Choose photo" and pick a clear, front-facing picture. Use the zoom slider and drag the picture until the face sits in the middle of the round frame. The photo is placed with a gold ring under the heading. It never leaves your phone or computer: it is not uploaded and not saved, so pick it again if you come back later.
Make it move
"Animated GIF" turns the card into a short loop with confetti falling down the sides. It is 540 pixels wide, so it sends quickly on WhatsApp. Some phones show a GIF only after it is tapped, so send the still JPG with it; then nobody misses the time and address.
Hindi and other styles
Tap Hindi for "जन्मदिन समारोह" with a warm Hindi message, the date as "रविवार, 1 नवंबर 2026" and the time as "शाम 6:30 बजे". The Hindi text uses proper Devanagari fonts, so it looks right on every phone. For a grandparent's birthday or a 25th birthday dinner, the Florals, Royal arch or Minimal designs with a calmer colour set look more grown-up.
Send it at the right time
For a children's party, send the card about a week ahead and a short reminder the day before. Put the end time in the programme line too, such as "Party: 6:30 to 9 PM", so parents can plan pick-up. If you need a head count for the cake and return gifts, add "Please RSVP by Friday" in the note.
Printing for the party
If you want printed cards for neighbours or a school class, download the A4 sheet with four A6 cards. Each sheet has dashed cut lines; print at Actual size on card paper and cut along them.
