A colourful Holi greeting with your name

Holi is the loudest, brightest festival of the year, and a plain text message does not quite match it. A poster with your photo on a burst of colour does. This page opens the poster maker on Holi with the colour splash design, ready for your photo and name.

Four Holi designs

• Colour splash: pink, yellow, green and blue gulal splashes bursting from the corners of a white card.
• Gulal bowls: four brass bowls heaped with coloured powder, with soft colour clouds rising above them.
• Neon night: glowing colour splashes on a deep purple background, with a rainbow-gradient greeting.
• Sunny dots: a bright yellow background covered in colour dots, with water balloons in the corners.

All four are drawn by the tool, so they stay crisp in the A4 or A3 print PDF.

Wishes ready to use

In Hindi the greeting starts as "होली की हार्दिक शुभकामनाएँ", with "हैप्पी होली" and "रंगों के त्योहार की शुभकामनाएँ" as options. The top line can be "बुरा न मानो, होली है!" for a playful touch. Messages include "गुलाल की खुशबू, अपनों का प्यार; मुबारक हो आपको होली का त्योहार।" In English, "Happy Holi" and "Wishing you a safe, colourful and happy Holi with your loved ones." are ready.

Photo ideas

A photo from last year's Holi, face covered in gulal, is perfect here. If you would rather use a clean portrait, the Cut-out frame with background removal places you straight onto the colours. The removal runs on your phone; the photo is not uploaded. For a group photo of friends or cousins, pick the arch frame and zoom out until everyone fits, then drag the photo so the faces sit in the middle.

For shops and businesses

Sweet shops, colour sellers and restaurants can add their name, phone and logo at the bottom and use the badge for a Holi offer or special hours. A friendly line such as "Play with safe, skin-friendly colours" also fits in the badge.

Sizes and sharing

Keep the square size for family and friends' groups, choose 1080 × 1920 for a WhatsApp status or Instagram story, and 1080 × 1350 for an Instagram post. Tap Animated GIF for a version where the colour clouds and dots gently pulse; it is a bigger file than the JPG, so send the JPG to large groups. Your name and design stay saved in this browser, so next year you only need to change the year.

Dates for 2027

The Department of Personnel and Training's 2027 holiday list gives Holi as Tuesday, 23 March 2027, and Holika Dahan as Monday, 22 March 2027 in the restricted list. Customs differ by region, so add the date only if it matches your local celebration.
