About the SBI Clerk uploads
This is not SBI's regular clerk notice. Advertisement CRPD/CR/SPLDRIVE/2026-27/16 is a special drive to fill backlog vacancies reserved for SC, ST and OBC candidates in the Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) clerical cadre: 1,538 posts across 21 States and UTs. You apply for one State or UT only and choose one local language of that State, which is tested after the Main exam unless your Class 10 or 12 mark sheet shows you studied it. The form needs a colour photo, a signature, a left thumb print and an English declaration written by hand, plus a live photo clicked through a webcam or a phone linked by QR code. A saved application can be reopened and edited only three times, so have the scans ready before you start.

How to resize your SBI Clerk photo and signature

Tips so your SBI Clerk upload is not rejected
- SBI denies exam admission when the photo box holds anything other than your photo, and the responsibility is yours.
- Sign the same way at the exam as in your upload, because a different signature on the attendance record or call letter means disqualification.
- Capitals are refused in the signature and the declaration, and a smudged or unclear scan of any of the four files may lead to rejection.
- Submitting more than one application wastes money: only the last valid completed application is kept and the fee paid for the others is forfeited.
- Use a recent colour photo with a plain light background and even light on your face, with no cap or dark glasses.
- Sign in black ink inside the space, and do not sign in capital letters unless the notice allows it.
- Open the downloaded file once to check it looks sharp before you upload it to the portal.

Who can apply in this SBI Junior Associate special drive?
The vacancy table lists only SC, ST and OBC backlog posts. OBC posts are for the non-creamy layer; OBC candidates in the creamy layer are not eligible. You need a graduation in any discipline (final-year students may apply provisionally), and people already working in SBI's clerical cadre cannot apply. You may appear for the test only once under this project.
Do I need printed photos for the exam?
Yes. You download the call letter from SBI's website, tentatively 10 days before the exam; no hard copy is posted. Paste a photo on it and bring two more copies of the same photo. Without these you will not be allowed to appear. SBI advises keeping at least 8 copies of the photo you uploaded for later stages.
Where is the local language test held?
At a centre in the State you applied for, chosen by the Bank, and at your own expense, even if you took the online exams elsewhere. It is held after provisional selection but before joining. If you produce a Class 10 or 12 mark sheet or certificate showing you studied the opted language, you skip the test; otherwise failing it means no appointment.
Can I take the SBI Clerk photo with my phone?

How do I check the size of my file before uploading?

What if my file is smaller than the minimum KB?
Small images can come out below the minimum even at full quality. This tool then adds a harmless comment block inside the JPG so the file reaches the minimum size, while the picture stays exactly the same.
