About the IBPS Clerk uploads

Clerical hiring in public sector banks is done state by state, so in CRP CSA-XVI (Customer Service Associate, 2027-28 vacancies) you apply for one State/UT only, normally sit the exam at a centre there, and must be proficient in the local language you opt for from that state's list. On ibps.in, the upload step comes straight after the first registration screen. Have ready: a colour photo, a black-ink signature, your left thumb print, an English declaration in your own hand and your SSC/10th certificate as an A4 PDF. A live photo is also taken through your webcam or phone. Selection runs through the online Prelims and Mains, then provisional allotment. Identity is checked at the exam through the photo pasted on your call letter and biometric capture, and the allotted bank verifies documents later, where a 10th mark sheet showing the local language can excuse you from the language test.

IBPS Clerk handwritten declaration text

Write this in English, in your own handwriting, on white paper with black ink, then scan or photograph it and resize it with the Declaration option above:

I, _______ (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.

How to resize your IBPS Clerk photo and signature

  1. The IBPS Clerk size is already selected above. Switch between Photo, Signature, Thumb, Declaration at the top.
  2. Upload a clear photo from your phone, or a scan or photo of your signature on white paper.
  3. Drag and zoom so your face (or signature) fills the frame. Use Rotate if it is sideways.
  4. For the signature, keep Clean background on so the paper turns pure white and the ink stays dark.
  5. Press Download JPG. The result shows the exact pixel size and KB, within the IBPS Clerk limits.

Tips so your IBPS Clerk upload is not rejected

  • An unclear or smudged face, signature, thumb impression, declaration or 10th certificate in the uploaded files leads to rejection of the application form.
  • Arriving without your photo pasted on the call letter, or without one extra copy of that same photo, means entry to the exam hall is refused.
  • Fingers coated with mehndi, stamp ink or colour can spoil the biometric thumb capture, so wash them thoroughly before exam day; refusing capture may cancel candidature.
  • The State/UT you applied for cannot be changed in the edit window, so choose it carefully before final submission.
  • Use a recent colour photo with a plain light background and even light on your face, with no cap or dark glasses.
  • Sign in black ink inside the space, and do not sign in capital letters unless the notice allows it.
  • Open the downloaded file once to check it looks sharp before you upload it to the portal.

What happens at the IBPS Clerk exam if my right thumb is injured?

Biometric data, usually the right thumb, may be captured at different stages and your photo is matched with the one you uploaded or captured live. If the right thumb is injured or damaged, tell the test centre authority straight away; other fingers or toes may be captured instead. The biometric authority's matched or mismatched decision is final.

I cannot write. How do I give the handwritten declaration for CSA?

The notice allows candidates who cannot write to get the declaration text typed, then put their left hand thumb impression below it if they cannot sign either, and upload that document as per the same specifications. Everyone else must write it in their own handwriting, in English only and not in capital letters.

Which photo ID should I carry with my Clerk call letter?

Bring an original photo ID and a photocopy, bearing exactly the same name as on your call letter, such as PAN, passport, permanent driving licence, voter card or Aadhaar/e-Aadhaar with photograph. Ration cards and learner's licences are not accepted. If your name has changed, carry the original gazette notification, marriage certificate or affidavit.

Can I take the IBPS Clerk photo with my phone?

Yes. Stand facing a plain light wall in daylight, hold the phone at eye level and take a sharp, front-facing photo. Upload it here, drag and zoom so your face fills the frame, and the tool saves it at the exact pixel size and KB range.

How do I check the size of my file before uploading?

The result box under the preview shows the exact pixel size and file size in KB. On a phone you can also open the file details in the Files or Gallery app. On a computer, right-click the file and open Properties (Windows) or Get Info (Mac).

What if my file is smaller than the minimum KB?

Small images can come out below the minimum even at full quality. This tool then adds a harmless comment block inside the JPG so the file reaches the minimum size, while the picture stays exactly the same.
