About the RRB NTPC UG uploads
CEN 07/2026 is the Railway Recruitment Boards' 12th-level NTPC drive for 1,688 posts: 700 Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, 200 Accounts Clerk cum Typist, 600 Junior Clerk cum Typist and 188 Trains Clerk. You need 12th (+2) or equivalent with at least 50% aggregate marks, a condition not insisted upon for SC/ST, PwBD and ex-servicemen candidates or those with a higher qualification, and you must be 18 to 30 years old on 1 January 2027. You can apply to only one RRB. If you created an RRB account for any 2024, 2025 or 2026 CEN, log in with that account instead of making a new one. The only image you upload is a scanned signature; the form captures your photograph live through a webcam or your phone's front camera, against a pure plain white background.

How to resize your RRB NTPC UG signature
- The RRB NTPC UG size is already selected above.
- Upload a scan or clear phone photo of your signature on white paper.
- Drag and zoom so your signature fills the frame. Use Rotate if it is sideways.
- For the signature, keep Clean background on so the paper turns pure white and the ink stays dark.
- Press Download JPG. The result shows the exact pixel size and KB, within the RRB NTPC UG limits.
Tips so your RRB NTPC UG upload is not rejected
- Applying to more than one RRB gets all your applications rejected and debars you from future RRB and RRC examinations.
- Wearing white clothes for the live photo: the notice asks for non-white, preferably plain dark clothing that covers your shoulders and chest, so you stand out from the white background.
- Uploading a thumb impression, a blank image or someone else's signature in the signature slot is a listed ground for rejection (only PwBD candidates who cannot sign may upload a fingerprint).
- The signature on your application must match the ones you give at the exams, document verification, medical examination and appointment, so use the same running signature every time.
- Sign in black ink inside the space, and do not sign in capital letters unless the notice allows it.
- Open the downloaded file once to check it looks sharp before you upload it to the portal.

RRB NTPC UG signature FAQs
What is the signature size for RRB NTPC UG?
700 × 400 px, 30–49 KB, JPG. The notice fixes only the KB range, so the pixel size is our suggested default. Sign with a black pen on plain white paper and keep "Clean background" on.
Is there a typing test for the RRB NTPC UG typist posts?
No. CEN 07/2026 has dispensed with the Computer Based Typing Skill Test for Junior Clerk cum Typist and Accounts Clerk cum Typist. Selection is through the 1st and 2nd stage CBTs, then document verification and medical examination. Typing proficiency on computers is assessed after joining, and unsatisfactory performance may affect or delay confirmation or promotion.
Can I change my RRB NTPC UG application after submitting it?
Pay the fee for a submitted application by 15.11.2026. From 16.11.2026 to 25.11.2026 you can modify details on paying a non-refundable Rs. 250 each time. Details in the Create an Account form, including mobile number and email ID, and your chosen RRB can never be changed, and no modification requests are entertained after 25.11.2026.
Which photo do I carry to the RRB NTPC UG exam?
Bring your e-call letter, a valid original photo ID such as Aadhaar, voter ID, PAN or driving licence, and a colour passport photograph not older than two months from the date of the CBT, DV or medical exam. At the CBT you write the self-declaration paragraph, sign and give your left thumb impression in front of the invigilator.
Why is there no photo upload for RRB NTPC UG?
The RRB NTPC UG notice says the candidate's photograph is captured live during the application or exam process, so only the signature needs to be uploaded. Follow the instructions on the official portal for the live photo.
How do I check the size of my file before uploading?
The result box under the preview shows the exact pixel size and file size in KB. On a phone you can also open the file details in the Files or Gallery app. On a computer, right-click the file and open Properties (Windows) or Get Info (Mac).
What if my file is smaller than the minimum KB?
Small images can come out below the minimum even at full quality. This tool then adds a harmless comment block inside the JPG so the file reaches the minimum size, while the picture stays exactly the same.
