From PNG images to one tidy PDF

PNG is the format of screenshots, exported charts, design proofs and many scanner apps. It keeps text and lines perfectly sharp, which is exactly why you want to keep that quality when you put the images into a PDF. This converter places each PNG on its own page without re-compressing it, so the result looks the same as the images you started with.

Typical jobs it handles well:

  • Payment and booking proof: a run of UPI or bank app screenshots saved as one PDF for an expense claim or a dispute.
  • Chats and receipts you need to submit as a single document.
  • Design work: logo options, posters or social media posts sent to a client for approval.
  • Scanner app output that was saved as PNG pages.

How to convert PNG to PDF

  1. Choose your PNG files, or drop them on the box. JPG and WebP files can be mixed in.
  2. Arrange them with ◀ and ▶ or the ⠿ handle. Tap ⟳ to turn any image that is sideways.
  3. For screenshots, pick Same as image so every page has the tall shape of a phone screen and no white bands. For documents that will be printed, pick A4 with a small margin.
  4. Leave File size on Full quality to keep every pixel, or choose a size limit if a website restricts uploads.
  5. Name the file and tap Download PDF. The size of the finished file is shown under the button, so you know at once whether it will fit an email or upload limit.

Sharpness, size and transparency

Because PNG is lossless, a PDF made from PNG images at Full quality is as sharp as the originals but can be large: a single full-resolution phone screenshot can be a megabyte or more. If that is too big to email or upload, choose Smaller file, which re-saves each image as a JPG at a lower resolution, or set an exact limit in KB. Text in screenshots usually stays readable at moderate settings, and the preview shows you each page before you save.

Transparent areas in a PNG, such as the background of a logo or signature, show the white page beneath them. Nothing is filled with black or a chequered pattern.

Your files stay with you

Screenshots often contain account numbers, chats or addresses. This tool works inside your browser: the images are read from your device and the PDF is written back to it, with no upload, no account and no watermark. When you close the tab, nothing is kept.

Need to add a note or a signature after making the PDF? Use the PDF editor. To hide something private, such as an account number, crop or paint over it in the image itself before you convert. A white-out box in a PDF only covers the picture underneath; it does not remove it from the file. To get images back out of a PDF, use PDF to PNG.

Frequently asked questions

Does converting PNG to PDF lose quality?

Not with Full quality. PNG images are placed in the PDF without being compressed again, so screenshots and text stay pixel-perfect. Only the Smaller file and Under a size options re-save images as JPG to reduce the size.

What happens to transparent areas in a PNG?

Transparent parts show the page underneath, which is white. A logo or signature with a see-through background therefore appears on a clean white page.

How do I turn phone screenshots into one PDF?

Select all the screenshots at once, arrange them with the arrows or the drag handle, and choose Same as image as the page size so each page matches the tall screenshot shape. Then tap Download PDF.

Can I mix PNG and JPG files in one PDF?

Yes. Add PNG, JPG and WebP images together; each becomes one page in the order you set.
