Find it in your UPI app under Profile. It looks like name@bank.
Use the same name as your bank account, so customers see a matching name.

Real sizes on A4 paper with cut lines. Print at Actual size / 100%, not "Fit to page".
Before printing, pay ₹1 to this QR from another phone and check that the name shown in the app is yours. Money goes straight to your bank; this tool never handles payments. Need a QR for the exact total of one bill? Use the GST invoice generator.
A Scan & Pay QR for your counter
Most customers now ask "UPI chalega?" before they reach for cash. A clear Scan & Pay card on the counter answers that question before it is asked, and it saves you reading out your number or UPI ID to every customer. This page opens the UPI QR code generator with the counter stand design ready, so you only need to type your UPI ID and shop name.
The QR holds a standard UPI payment link with your UPI ID and name. The customer scans it with any UPI app, types the amount and pays with their UPI PIN. The money goes from their bank to the bank account linked with your UPI ID. This tool never touches the payment.
Make your shop QR in four steps
- Type the UPI ID linked to the account where you want shop payments to land. You can find it in your UPI app's profile.
- Type the shop name exactly as you want customers to see it. Customers' apps usually show the name on the bank account too, so keep the two close.
- Leave the amount blank. At a shop every bill is different, so the customer types the amount.
- Pick a colour, then choose Download PDF and the size you need. Pay ₹1 from another phone before you print in bulk.
Which print size goes where
| Where it goes | Design and PDF size |
|---|---|
| Acrylic stand on the billing counter | Stand design, A6 insert (105 × 148 mm), 4 on one A4 sheet |
| Table stand at a cafe or dhaba table | Any poster design at A5 (148 × 210 mm), in an A5 stand or pasted on card |
| Cash box, weighing scale, cart or bill folder | Square design as a 75 × 75 mm sticker, 6 on one A4 sheet |
| Wall, pillar or shop window | A4 poster (210 × 297 mm) |
The PDF keeps these real sizes. Print it at Actual size / 100%, not "Fit to page", and cut along the dashed lines or crop marks. For stickers, ask the print shop for sticker paper and lamination, which protects the code from oil, water and fingerprints.
Keep counter payments safe
- Check your own phone, not the customer's. Wait for the credit in your bank SMS or app. A screenshot can be old or edited.
- Look at your QR every morning. Someone can paste another sticker over yours. Laminated cards in a stand are harder to cover than a loose printout.
- Never share your UPI PIN. You never need your PIN to receive money. Anyone who asks you to scan a code or type your PIN to "receive" a payment is trying to take money from you.
- One code per account. If you have two counters going to the same account, print the same code twice. If you change your UPI ID, collect and replace every old print.
Your own QR or the bank's?
Many banks and payment apps give shops their own QR stands, and some add extras such as payment alerts. A code made here is useful when you need more copies, a bigger poster, your own colours and logo, a Hindi heading, or a quick replacement for a torn sticker. Both point to your UPI ID; the choice is about convenience. Ask your bank which kind of account and UPI ID suits regular business collections.
This tool is not affiliated with NPCI, any bank or any UPI app.

Frequently asked questions
How do I get a UPI QR sticker or stand for my shop?
Make the design here, download the PDF and print it at a local print shop, or on your own printer at Actual size. A6 inserts fit common acrylic stands, and 75 mm stickers suit a counter or a weighing scale. Many banks and payment apps also give merchant QR stands; ask your bank or app if you want one from them.
Can I use my personal UPI ID for my shop?
The QR code works with any valid UPI ID, so customers can pay you either way. Whether a personal account suits regular shop collections is a question for your bank, which can tell you about current accounts and merchant UPI IDs and any rules or limits that apply to them.
Which size should I print for the counter?
An A6 stand insert (105 × 148 mm) is easy to scan from across a counter. A 75 mm sticker suits a cash box, a scale or a cart. Use an A4 or A5 poster on a wall or a pillar that people scan from a step away. Whatever you pick, test-scan one print before making many.
How do I know a customer has really paid?
Check the credit in your own bank SMS, bank app or UPI app before the customer leaves. Do not rely on the payment screen on the customer's phone, because a screenshot or a pending payment can look like a successful one.
Will the shop QR stop working after some time?
No. The code holds your UPI ID, so it keeps working as long as that UPI ID stays active and linked to your bank account. If you change your bank or your UPI ID, make a new code and replace every old print and sticker.
