A price list that looks as neat as your salon
Clients read a salon price list differently from a restaurant menu. They compare services, check what a package includes and want to know how long a facial or hair spa takes before they book. A cluttered chart or a crumpled printout at the reception does not help, and a price list made in a design app often needs a login or leaves a watermark. This page opens with a salon sample: hair, skin, threading and waxing, and grooming, in the Modern design. Rename, delete or add services to match your own rate card.
Build your rate card
- Enter the salon name, a tagline such as "Hair · Skin · Grooming", your phone, timings and weekly off.
- Edit each section. For a service that takes a set time, open "More" and write the time in the description, like "45 min".
- Paste a long list in one go with "Paste many items", one service per line:
Hair spa, 900. - Add a QR in step 3: your booking link or Instagram page, or a UPI QR for payments.
- Pick A4 or A3 to print, or the WhatsApp square or story size to post.
Write prices clients understand
- Be specific: "Haircut (women, with wash)" avoids the "I thought the wash was included" conversation.
- Use "onwards" honestly for services that depend on hair length or product, such as global colour or keratin, and explain at the chair.
- Separate men's and women's rates with two lines, or switch on two prices for a section and name the columns Men and Women.
- List packages in their own section, with what is included in the description, so the saving is clear.
Design choices for a salon
The Modern design suits most salons: a solid colour header, rounded section labels and clean prices without dotted leaders. Change the colour to match your signboard, or upload your logo so it sits above the name. The Classic design works for a traditional parlour, and Black & white is best if you will photocopy the list. Switch off the veg/non-veg marks and the Hindi names if you do not need them; they are already off in the salon sample.
Use it online as well
The same price list becomes a 1080 × 1080 image for an Instagram post or a 1080 × 1920 image for a WhatsApp status. Share the story version when you change rates or run a festive offer, and keep the printed A4 at the reception in sync with it. Your list is saved in this browser, so updating is quick.
Everything is made on your device: your rates, logo and links are not uploaded anywhere, and the files carry no watermark.

Frequently asked questions
What should a salon price list include?
Group services the way clients choose them: hair, skin, threading and waxing, grooming, and packages. Give each service a clear name, the rate, and the time it takes if clients ask. Add your timings, weekly off and phone number in the footer.
How do I show 'starting from' prices for hair colour?
Type the words in the price box, such as '1800 onwards' or 'from 1,800'. The tool adds the ₹ sign before a number and prints the rest as you typed it, so variable services read correctly.
Can I add separate rates for men and women?
Yes. Either list them as separate services, like 'Haircut (men)' and 'Haircut (women)', or switch on two prices for a section and name the columns Men and Women.
Can clients book by scanning the price list?
Choose 'Online menu or website' in step 3 and paste your booking link, Instagram page or Google Maps link. Or choose UPI payment to take payments at the counter. The QR prints in the footer.
Which size works for a salon?
An A4 sheet in a frame suits a reception desk, and A3 suits a wall. Use the WhatsApp square or story size to post the price list on your status or Instagram.
